Ashley Young has issued a message to Manchester United fans after completing his move to Inter Milan on a six-month deal, with an option to extend for a further year.
According to Sky Sports, the two clubs came to an agreement on Thursday, with Inter paying a £1.3m transfer fee plus bonuses.
That’s a really good deal from Inter’s perspective. Young may be at the wrong side of his 30s, but his experience could be big in their bid to beat Juventus to the Serie A title.
Young landed in Milan on Friday to undergo a medical ahead of the announcement.

He becomes the third Man Utd player to sign for Antonio Conte’s Inter side in less than 12 months, following the transfer of Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez’s arrival on loan.
The 34-year-old rejected a contract extension at United after spending eight-and-a-half seasons at the club, as per Gianluca Di Marzio. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did not name Young in a match day squad since and now he has officially left the club for pastures new.
And Young has took some time on Twitter to say farewell to the fans who supported him during that time.
To the United fans: every time I walked on the pitch wearing your shirt I gave you my all. Thank you for your support during the highs and the lows. I leave as one of you, see you again in an away end soon 🤘🏾 pic.twitter.com/SyQFrwIilo

Young should have been moved on two or three years ago, but that takes nothing away from him being a brilliant servant to the club during his time at Old Trafford.
We wish Youngy the best in Italy and hope to see him back at the Theatre of Dreams in a supporting capacity soon.
