Zlatan Ibrahimovic has got loads of Manchester United fans excited by joking he is available if the club want to sign him.
The Swede, now at LA Galaxy, remains as confident as ever and believes he could ‘easily’ still play in the Premier League.
Since leaving Old Trafford in 2017, Ibrahimovic has continued his incredible goal record in the MLS, scoring 46 times in 49 games.
“I could play easy in the Premier League, so if United need me, I’m here,” he said, as quoted by the Sky Sports. “But Galaxy has me, so I’m sorry.
“Nah, I did my job in Europe. I enjoyed it, I have 33 trophies that I brought with me here and hopefully I can get something here. And then we will see where that adventure finishes.”
NEXT:Zlatan Ibrahimovic hints at Man Utd return
Few United players who have had such a short spell at the club have had the same impact as Ibrahimovic.
The striker’s 28 goals under Jose Mourinho helped United win the League Cup and Europa League, but struggled to recover from serious knee ligament damage and only played seven games for the Reds in his second season.
But Zlatan’s quotes have got United fans talking and some would welcome him back to Old Trafford with open arms. With Lukaku’s departure in the summer and Alexis Sanchez’s pending exit, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been left short in attacking options.
Ibrahimovic is exactly the type of leader Solskjaer could do with in the United dressing room, and I’d take him back on a short-term loan in January in a heartbeat.
At 37, the Swede wouldn’t be expected to play many games but could feature in the cup competitions and help Solskjaer rotate his squad during fixture congestion towards the end of the season.
He still has huge quality and would get a hero’s welcome if he did ever return to Old Trafford.

I'd 100% take Zlatan back at United giving our current state #mufc

At this point I honestly think we should bring Zlatan back. He's exactly what we need in the dressing room right now and our attack is light and lacking experience too. #mufc

The only reason to take back #Zlatan to #mufc is for his leadership skills. After his injury he proved he's not capable, but his character is another thing.
