Adidas have announced the release of Manchester United’s third kit for the 2019/20 season.
The German kit manufacturer released both the home and away kits in time for United’s pre-season tour, but fans have had to wait for confirmation on the colour of the third shirt.
However, we’ve known for some time that it would be black with a hint of orange, and this morning’s announcement confirms just that.

Featured in the print is the Manchester Rose – on the side of the kit – as an inscription reads “110 Years – Manchester Rose – 1909 2019”. This design references the 1909 FA Cup final which saw United beat Bristol City while wearing a white shirt with a red rose on the chest.
