French striker previously linked with Man Utd en route to London for medical ahead of £45m West Ham transfer

Eintracht Frankfurt have already lost one of their young goalscorers this summer, and are about to lose another soon with Sébastien Haller on his way to London to complete a summer move to West Ham, according to reports.

The French striker has been making waves since his arrival in the Bundesliga. So much that he earned links to Manchester United this summer, with the Manchester Evening News touting him as a potential replacement for Romelu Lukaku, who is still at the club.

But news emerged this morning that West Ham have jumped ahead in their pursuit of Haller.

Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol claims Haller is on his way to London to complete his West Ham medical ahead of a £45m transfer, as seen in the tweet below:

In his two seasons at Frankfurt, Haller has scored 33 goals and provided 19 assists in all competitions, so there’s every chance he will be a big hit in the Premier League should this deal go through.

He may not be as good as former team-mate Luka Jović, who joined Real Madrid this summer, but he’s got confidence in abundance and should bring plenty of creativity to the current West Ham side.

It is yet to be seen whether United will try to hijack the deal that could see Haller become a Hammer.
