Video: Young Man Utd stars show quick feet during tough ‘Rondo’ training drill in Australia

Manchester United players have been preparing at Australia’s famous WACA cricket ground ahead of the second game of the pre-season tour against Leeds United on Wednesday.

The Reds eased to victory in the first game over Perth Glory on Saturday, thanks to goals from academy graduates Marcus Rashford and James Garner.

Some of United’s young stars took part in the tough ‘Rondo’ challenge where they attempt to keep the ball off teammates in a confined space.

Tahith Chong and Angel Gomes participated, and looked sharp as they kept the ball from midfielders Andreas Pereira and Scott McTominay.

Chong and Gomes both had limited opportunities to shine in the game against Perth on Saturday, but still looked dangerous in attacking areas.

We hope to see more of the likes of Gomes and Chong, as well as other young stars such as Mason Greenwood and James Garner during this summer tour.

Check out the youngsters taking part in the technical training session below.
