‘Manchester is my home, United is my team’: Marcus Rashford signs new deal

Manchester United announced that Marcus Rashford has signed a new contract which will keep him at the club until June 2023, with the option to extend for a further year.

This is the sort of announcement that will give manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer a boost, knowing Rashford has committed his long-term future to the club and will definitely be part of the team rebuild.

There’s lots of work to get done yet, but Rashford now needs to focus on getting himself ready for next season and scoring 20+ goals must be his aim for the campaign.

Rashford, 21, is a product of the club’s Academy, so it’s important as fans to have his back. We often forget just how young he is but now we really need to start seeing development.
