Barcelona will sell star if they receive on ‘good offer’ amid Man Utd transfer rumours

Barcelona are reportedly open to selling Ivan Rakitic, amid rumours that Manchester United are interested in signing the Croatian midfielder.

He’s been at Barcelona since 2014 – winning four La Liga titles, as many Copa del Reys, and the Champions League. And the season before Rakitic left Sevilla, he won the Europa League.

Rakitic could be seen as a fine replacement for Ander Herrera, who left United this month after his contract expired, and he now looks destined to join PSG on a Bosman, as reported by The Telegraph.

Another who could leave on a free is Juan Mata.

So, if Ernesto Valverde thinks it’s time to cash in on the Croatia international, perhaps United might try to squeeze in with a tempting offer for the player and La Liga champions to consider?

Barcelona recently signed Frenkie de Jong from Ajax and it is thought that he will take Rakitic’s place in the team.

It has been suggested by Esports SER presenter Sique Rodriquez that Barça are ready to listen to offers for Rakitic.

While Rodriquez’s information reveals that Valverde would let Rakitic go if a ‘good offer’ came in, his track record with transfer news is unknown, so it’s probably best to take what he says with a pinch of salt for now…
