Stretty News has reason to believe to Pogba was convinced to join United in 2016 as a stepping stone to eventually sign for Real Madrid, which now seems likely with Zinedine Zidane in charge of the Spanish giants and clearly a big admirer of the World Cup-winner.

It remains to be seen if Pogba has any interest in returning to Juventus where he won four Serie A titles between 2012-2016.

As for PSG, Pogba could become the centre-piece to their attempts to finally win the Champions League. They can afford his hefty wages and price tag but is he willing to give up a strong competitive league for Ligue 1?

Meanwhile, The Express claims Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has drawn up a list of potential replacements for Pogba. Two creators with Premier League experience are named: Christen Eriksen of Spurs & Youri Tielemans of AS Monaco (spent second half of last season on loan at Leicester City).
