Solskjaer faces dilemma as Man Utd star doesn’t want to play Europa League

How convenient.

Paul Pogba has been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid for the best part of a year now. Only recently he stated it would be a ‘dream’ to play for Los Blancos under Zinedine Zidane, and now it’s been leaked that he could ditch United who will be in the Europa League.

He could still achieve that this summer by completing a summer switch to the Santiago Bernabeu, but Real Madrid won’t get him on a cheap. This is United’s biggest marketing tool. And, a TOOL he is! (Irish slang)

Pogba has had another topsy turvy season and his future remains up in the air even with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at the wheel.

A summer-long saga involving Pogba is the last thing United needs right now.

Solskjaer has a gigantic rebuilding job on his hands and he needs to properly evaluate the dressing room before getting rid of any players he feels the team can do without.

The Reds missed out on a Champions League place after drawing away to Huddersfield Town on Sunday, and now, according to the Telegraph, Pogba has cold feet over returning to the Europa League and questions whether United can still attract the right calibre of players.

Pogba won the Europa League with United back in 2017.
