(Video) Man Utd target justifies first international start with terrific display in Euro 2020 qualifier

Callum Hudson-Odoi made his full England debut against Montenegro in a Euro 2020 qualifying match.

The Chelsea winger impressed for the Three Lions and always showed a willingness to get on the ball to make something happen.

While the defensive side of his game was shown up for Montenegro’s opener, Hudson-Odoi made amends when his stunning assist gifted Ross Barkley a goal. He made mincemeat of his man down the left before having his shot at goal turned in.

According to a report from the Daily Mail last week, Manchester United will fight Bayern Munich to sign the 18-year-old, who tonight looked a very promising prospect in his first start under Gareth Southgate.

Hudson-Odoi wanted to leave Chelsea in January, but the Blues rejected several offers from Bayern, where it appeared he wished to move.

The highly thought of youngster provided another special moment for the highlights in the second half when he took a pinpoint aerial ball from Harry Kane in his stride before sprinting towards the penalty area and testing the goalkeeper.

If United are monitoring his situation at Stamford Bridge, the club will be encouraged by his display tonight.

Fans took to Twitter urging the club to sign the winger.
