Manchester United defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah is currently on loan at Fulham, but the Netherlands international could still be part of our plans for the future.

The 21-year-old will hope he can go on to make the same amount of appearances and more than United legend Andy Cole, who his father took the opportunity to take a selfie with recently.

Cole is no doubt used to taking selfies with supporters being one of the best finishers to have worn the shirt during Sir Alex Fergusonā€™s reign, but youā€™d think posing with a current playerā€™s father made for something different.

Itā€™s always great to see players and their families lap up the culture of Manchester United and Cole is definitely part of that.

Fulham have had a dreadful season and Fosu-Mensah has only made 8 appearances, as per WhoScored. That will send doubts to United but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may have a different perspective on the player when he speaks to the coaches who know him better.

This is a player who has appeared on the international stage for Holland and one United fans wanted to see given more opportunities in the first team.

Hopefully Fosu-Mensah gets his chance next season and we can get to see what heā€™s really about!
