(Watch) Man Utd pay price for costly Rashford miss against Burnley

Marcus Rashford has been tremendous under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, so being overly critical of his finishing at Old Trafford on Tuesday night would be harsh but this is the top level and only the best is to be expected.

We are talking about a 21-year-old with the world at his feet, booming with confidence and loving every minute of his football under Solskjaer.

But time and time again he squanders some chances. Opportunities he should be taking!

In this instance, Rashford goes fully Danny Welbeck by doing all the hard work but p*ssing away the golden opportunity at the end.

It came as a surprise considering the form he’s in, though last night wasn’t one of his better ones. Solskjaer probably should have switched it up earlier by playing the England international more centrally.

The footage below shows a promising glimpse of combination play between Rashford and Romelu Lukaku.

Unfortunately, there was little evidence that we could rely on that throughout the game with United looking sluggish in the final third and scrapping for two late goals to save a point.
