Manchester United youngster Tahith Chong scored a sensational free kick goal during his side’s U23 Premier League 2 game against Fulham at Leigh Sports Village on Friday night.
The strike rounds off a fantastic week for the 19-year-old after he was handed his first team debut by interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on Saturday in the Reds’ 2-0 victory over Reading in the FA Cup fourth round.
The Dutch forward is already a fan favourite at Old Trafford, and already has his own chant: “We’ve only got one Chong”.

Chong had been on the verge of joining Chelsea, as reported by the Manchester Evening News, when he was around the age of 15, but was convinced by United’s former head of youth recruitment Derek Langley, that his future lied at Old Trafford.
United fans should count themselves very fortunate, as they now have a hugely talented attacking player on the hands. Let’s hope he will be given more chances in the first team this season under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after again impressing in the u23 side under Ricky Sbragia.
