Interim manager at Manchester United, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has sent a classy message to fans and players ahead of the club’s Boxing Day clash against Huddersfield Town.
The Reds got off to a perfect start under Solskjaer against Cardiff City last week, winning 5-1 just days after the Norwegian was appointed temporary manager until the end of the season.
And the lads are back in action the day after Christmas, with Huddersfield hoping to provide an upset to boost their festive spirits.

Solskjaer has used the occasion to send a special message to the Old Trafford faithful in his first programme notes as manager.
He described the fans as ‘incredible’ and made it clear the players must repay them after recent struggles on the pitch.
‘It has been a difficult season but our fans have been incredible. It is time for that faith to be repaid,’ Solskjaer wrote for the matchday programme, as quoted by ESPN reporter Rob Dawson.

BBC reporter Simon Stone took another quote from Solskjaer’s programme notes, suggesting results need to improve but so must performances.

Solskjaer continues to hit the right note with fans, considering us in every interview he’s done this past week. No wonder there’s a feel good factor about United at the moment.
