United were unable to deal with the cross which deflecting off Chris Smalling into Paulo Dybala’s path before the Argentina international struck past United goalkeeper David de Gea.

The Juve playmaker has been linked with the Reds recently, as per SportsJoe.ie.

The Serie A champions had been enjoying the vast majority of possession before the goal but the game has lacked any clear-cut chances on goal.

Old Trafford is loud but the Reds have failed thus far to keep the momentum going. Something has to change if we’ve any chance getting back into this game.

In the other Group H encounter, Young Boys held Valencia to a 1-1 draw.
