Jose Mourinho set to demand four more signings at Man Utd

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho wants four more signings this summer after already completing deals for midfielder Fred and full-back Diogo Dalot.

That’s according to the Manchester Evening News, who claim Mourinho wants to splash the cash again.

They say United are in search of another centre-back, central midfielder and a striker to push Romelu Lukaku.

The MEN suggest Mourinho has cooled his interest in a left-back despite this being an area that needs strengthening ahead of next season, but the boss wants to bolster other departments.

With Michael Carrick retired and Marouane Fellaini set to leave the club for free, United need another central midfielder to join Fred.

Spurs seem resigned to losing United target Toby Alderweireld, despite the Belgium international’s contract expiring next year. They’ve reportedly demanded around £70 million for the defender while United are refusing to pay more than £50 million.

MEN add that United have also spoken with Willian’s representatives. The Chelsea winger has lost patience with manager Antonio Conte, who looks set to be sacked in the coming weeks.

Still, Mourinho is keen to reunite with the Brazil international.

It remains to be seen who United plan to bring it as back-up for Lukaku. Please, don’t be Marko Arnautovic of West Ham.
