(Watch) Man Utd €200m target scores thunderbolt goal

Robert Lewandowski continues to show his worth while Poland prepares for the World Cup.

The Bayern Munich striker has been linked with a move to Chelsea and Manchester United, following comments from his agent to suggest he wants a new challenge away from the Bundesliga.

Sources close to Stretty News have said United manager Jose Mourinho wants a backup striker to Romelu Lukaku, but Lewandowski doesn’t exactly fit that description.

A striker said to be worth €200 million isn’t a backup option and Lukaku doesn’t deserve to be replaced anytime soon following a solid debut campaign at Old Trafford.

If anything, United could do with a youngster that shares the same physicality to compete with the striking role at Old Trafford.

Marko Arnautovic of West Ham may add firepower to United’s attack but he’s nowhere near the same level as Lukaku or Lewandowski, which may also make him the ideal backout option, happy to sit on the bench at a bigger club and wait for opportunities while receiving a hefty wage package.

Poland and Chile ended 2-2.
