ESPN on Friday claimed Jose Mourinho is interested in signing Douglas Costa from Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich should Juventus fail to make his loan move permanent this summer.
Anyone that has watched Costa will tell you he’s an incredibly fast and skillful winger, as seen against Tottenham for in the Champions League knockout stages this season, with a record of 14 goals and 27 assists in 77 games since joining Bayern Munich in 2015 from Shakhtar Donetsk.

Costa, 27, left Shakhtar for £27 million but last season was able to record six goals and 14 assists for the Old Lady.
Furthermore, Manchester United may well be looking to sign Costa should Anthony Martial leave the club.
Martial’s relationship with manager Jose Mourinho could be a lot better, and it wouldn’t surprise us if the Frenchman was on his way over the coming weeks. He will put his exclusion from Didier Deschamps’ 23-man World Cup squad down to lack of game time since Alexis Sanchez’s January arrival, but sources close to Stretty News believe Mourinho believes his development has stalled of late.
