Manchester United are reportedly among the clubs considering a move for Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro, along with Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus.
The Brazil international has been one of Madrid’s most important players since Zinedine Zidane became the manager in 2016. The French manager was adamant shortly after taking the job that Casemiro was going to be a key part of his side, which has already won two Champions League and could possibly make it three from three on Saturday when Los Blancos take on Liverpool in Kiev.

Still, Don Balon links United, PSG, and Juventus as potential contenders for the Brazilian’s signature, with club captain Sergio Ramos said to be concerned about the apparent interest.
Last summer, sources close to Stretty News told us Jose Mourinho wanted to sign Casemiro but Zidane was not willing to let him go. United suddenly backed off but these reports suggest we’re going to chance our arm again.
United, of course, is in the market for a new midfielder this summer, with the Mirror linking us strongly with Shakhtar Donetsk star Fred, while The Sun has also suggested we’re monitoring Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
Casemiro, 26, would be a fantastic signing for United, who have already lost Michael Carrick to retirement. He would add more steal in the middle, but the club will be forced to spend big (Diario Gol have previously reported that Casemiro has a release clause as high as £175 million) if they want to make it happen. Plus, there’s no guarantee he wants to leave Real Madrid.
Best of luck in the Champions League final, Casemiro. We’re all rooting for you and your teammates.
