There are the footballing personalities such as Harry Redknapp, Ronald Koeman and Carlo Ancelotti who are regulars on Twitter, and it’s great to see – even if some of ‘Arry’s tweets are sponsored.

And, up until last week, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho enjoyed the odd Instagram post.

In fact, Mourinho joined the social network shortly after taking the United job back in 2016 but fans noticed his account has been deleted at the weekend.

The public suspected that Mourinho deleted his account after receiving abuse from online trolls (another term used for bullies) following his side’s defeat to Chelsea in the FA Cup final.

However, Mourinho’s entourage claimed that there was no correlation and that he actually deleted the account because he became “bored” of Instagram, according to Manchester Evening News.
