Jose Mourinho expects Paul Pogba to stay at Manchester United next season despite speculation over his future.
Reports on Wednesday suggested Paris Saint-Germain were open to signing the France midfielder, reported by The Sun.
Pogba signed a five-year contract with United with the option of an additional year and Mourinho clarified nether the 25-year-old’s agent Mino Raiola nor any possible suitors had approached the club about a potential deal.

“I think he’s going to be here next season,” Mourinho said. “That’s my feeling. I can give the guarantee that I don’t want him to leave, that the club doesn’t want to sell him ad I can give you the guarantee that we don’t have any approach from him or his agent or from any club.
“In this moment for me, he’s staying, yes.”
Initially when reading these quotes, I didn’t feel convinced by Mourinho. “I think” rather than ‘he is going to be here next season.’
But I guess in football anything can happen and the same goes when we report on transfers. Things can change in the blink of an eye lid.
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola said last month Raiola had offered Pogba to the Premier League champions in January, as per RTÉ, which was interesting because it is well documented that the manager and agent in question haven’t always seen eye-to-eye.
