Surprise! Surprise! Falcao to join United on loan

Manchester United have reportedly agreed a shock loan deal to take Radamel Falcao from Monaco.

It all began late last night when a number of Columbian journalists speculating over Falcao agreeing to move permanently, snubbing Arsenal and Manchester City. Then at approximately 10:00am Telegraph journalist Mark Ogden broke the news that the striker would join on a season long loan.

The deal is currently subject to completion of a medical and personal terms with the loan having an estimated value of £6 million. It remains to be season whether there will be an option to sign in twelve months time.

Meanwhile, Javier Hernandez has arrived in Madrid but it yet to be confirmed whether he will move there permanently or on loan. Danny Welbeck’s future at Manchester United is also in doubt with clubs such as Arsenal, Sunderland and Spurs believed to be interested.

Update: According to David McDonnell of the Mirror, United have the option to buy at the end of the season.
