Pjanic and Hamsik on United’s transfer radar

Who can be the next Manchester United midfielder? Could he come from Italy? Yes, of course it is possible. As reported on Stretty News, Manchester United’s scouts are very interested in potential from the Serie A. For instance in November, Moyes requested information on Fredy Guarin of Inter Milan. A player who was very appreciated, but has now renewed his contract until 2017.

Another midfielder for which a request has been made to his agents is Miralem Pjanic. He would be an adequate leader for United, but AS Roma are in talks with Pjanic’s agent to extend his current contract. And Roma director, Walter Sabatini, is confident about the situation. Then we have the really difficult targets, as for Arturo Vidal and Paul Pogba whose price is at least €50million with the likes of Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain all competing for their signatures.

Without Champions League next season, attracting marque signings won’t be easy but United will try without a shadow of a doubt. Moyes is adamant that he needs investment after being wrongly told he would have two big signings in the pipeline last summer.

Moving on, a player observed by United scouts for 2 years and certainly not out of reach, is Marek Hamsik. The Slovak is experiencing a bad season with Napoli, struggling to fit into Rafa Benitez’ tactical set-up. Benitez wants to keep Hamsik for another year but if a good offer came in, the player could leave Napoli.

We’ll see if in the coming weeks whether there will be movement on the United front in Italy. The scouts are always observing…
