Chicharito pens new 5 year deal. Little pea gets well deserved bumper pay

Javier Hernandez has committed his future to the Red Devils signing a 5-year deal keeping him tied to Old Trafford.  The new deal is rumored to be in the £80,000 a week range, and appears to be the type of deal that will make the player, the manager, the team, and the fans very happy.

Chicharito’s agent, Eduardo Hernandez, told the Daily Mail:

“We have renegotiated Javier’s contract and he is committed for five years to Manchester United. The initial contract was good for both Javier and the club because it enabled both to see if they could fit together and if he could achieve what was expected of him. “Both sides have met their expectations and United were happy to reward Javier after his very good performances last season.”

United fans were all hoping for this news sooner rather than later after seeing Hernandez have a prolific 2010 campaign.  Coming in as an unknown commodity, Chicharito burst onto the stage scoring 20 goals in all competitions, including a few vital goals during the title march.  So far he has already netted 2 goals in an injury riddle start.

Chicharito is now being paid in line with Giggs, Evra, and Vidic and looks to be right where he wants to be.  This deal following Tom Cleverley’s extension and the offer on the table for Welbeck shows Ferguson’s commitment to these young players for the future of the club.

  1. To be sincere, what Harnadez did is very courageous, but that is not the matter, what he need is to improve himself to make fans more intresting on him, so he would become a great player of the word. That is my advice to him.
