Now that we have Hernandez I feel that it is going to be a little harder for Owen to get his chance but I’d say when he joined Manchester United he didn’t expect to be on the starting 11 every week anyway.
Michael Owen told MUTV :
“It’s nice to have played a couple of games. I felt really good in Ireland and not so sharp at Wembley.
“It’s like that when you’re coming back, in some training sessions you feel absolutely great and then in others you feel heavy legged.
“I was at Carrington for most of the summer, recovering from the injury. I feel fine, fit and ready to go.”
